Welcome my name is Rebecca,

My mission is not only to make sure you feel awesome and uplifted but also to provide a safe space for students to learn the beauty of Yoga + More! Come learn to move in a way that protects you from injury but still challenges you. Learn your body and how to release Fascia and Trauma. Here we leave no Yogi behind. (Yogi= a person who practices Yoga) Props and modifications are provided by us. Students will need to bring a yoga mat.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A CLASS

  I was taught to approach yoga from a therapeutic standpoint, so the first class a student comes to is slower with more basic poses and lots of verbal guidance and props. Then we build on that with every class. This way we nurture and evolve the students personal practice at the pace they need. Join us and see the health benefits of this yoga mix up for yourself.

SEASONAL SCHEDULE

  The yoga part:  My roots are Ashtanga Yoga so some classes involve this beautiful practice as well.                            

~Yin (poses held longer with focus on breathing)

~Vinyasa (flowing sequence of movement and breath)

~Hatha (basic study of all that is yoga)

          The mix-up:

Classes are mixed with Pilates, Primal/Animal body movements, Barre, Fascial Release and sometimes the choice of adding in a small hand weight or exercise band. We go for a well rounded approach to keep balance in life and our body.

*FRIDAY= 2 p.m. HEALING YOGA FOR AGING BODIES AT THE UNION COUNTY LIBRARY (FREE) (beginner friendly-slower pace)

 

*SATURDAY= 10 a.m. GROUP CLASS AT YOGA ROOM
